Most people today have at least heard the word “chakra”. Some picture colorful spinning wheels of energy. Others dismiss it as mystical nonsense. But very few stop to ask a deeper question – what if the truth is more physical, more human, and more scientifically grounded than either side realizes?
The truth is simple. What you call “chakras” are nothing more, or less, than the human body’s glandular system. And this system is not some abstract metaphor; it is the very core of how your body regulates, communicates, and conducts energy.
Every living thing is electromagnetic. Your heart sends out measurable fields picked up by EKGs. Your brain emits electrical impulses tracked by EEGs. Your nervous system fires signals at lightning speed, and your cells rely on electrical ingredients to exchange nutrients.
Now pause and consider – if your body is one great symphony of electrical and chemical signals, then your glands – the pineal, pituitary, thymus, thyroid, adrenals, and so on – are like the conductor’s podiums. Each gland governs not only hormones but also the flow of energy that determines how you feel, think, and heal.
Ancient traditions mapped this system thousands of years ago, long before microscopes or MRIs. They called these centers “chakras.” Modern medicine calls them glands. But both were pointing to the same truth – the body is a living, conductive system, flowing with energy.
Why Modern Medicine Doesn’t Teach This
Here’s where things get messy. Despite all the breakthroughs of modern science, most people never hear about the body as an electromagnetic organism. Doctors focus on chemicals, prescriptions, and surgeries – but rarely on the field of energy you carry with you every second.
Is it ignorance that modern medicine doesn’t teach this? Or something more intentional? We can’t say for sure. But what is certain is that entire generations have been taught to separate the physical from the energetic, the seen from the unseen, when in reality they were always one system working together.
This disconnect is why so many humans walk around feeling “off,” misdiagnosed with mental illness, or just plain unheard. Their glands, what ancient people called chakras, are out of balance, but the language to describe it has been lost.
Let’s get real. This isn’t about “believing” in chakras or rejecting science. It’s about bridging the gap. It’s about honoring the fact that your throat tightens when you can’t speak your truth (thyroid). That your gut churns when you feel fear (adrenals, pancreas). That your chest literally aches when your heart is heavy (thymus).
These are not coincidences. They’re signals. Your body is telling you when energy is flowing and when it is blocked. Learning to listen is not mystical – it’s what we are supposed to do.
A Missing Piece of the Puzzle
In my book, The Other 95%: Unleashing the Power You Forgot You Had, I dive deeper into how our subconscious mind and body’s electrical systems are intertwined with the universe itself. When we reconnect with this forgotten knowledge, we stop seeing ourselves as broken or powerless. Instead, we remember we are conductive beings, designed to heal, to grow, and to awaken to the truth within us.
This is not about adopting new beliefs. It’s about recovering what was always there – the science and the soul of the human body.
What people once called “chakras” were never meant to be mystical ornaments. They were maps. They were warnings. They were reminders that your body is more than flesh and blood – it’s a living circuit of energy.
And maybe that’s the real apocalypse. Not the end of the world, but the unveiling of truths hidden in plain sight – you were created with a perfect internal system, and it’s time to turn it back on.
